Thoughts from my heart about my husband, my best friend,

Max Harlan

1958-2004

Hello my name is DJ!  My life has been one of wonderful blessings.  I was married to my husband for 20 years, July 5, 1984 to August 1, 2004.   That is when he lost his life saving his two sons from drowning one hot Sunday afternoon.  He was a hero in the community an outstanding person, a friend for life and never forget he was a son, brother, a brother-in-law, the son-in-law of all dreams and uncle that will never be forgotten, but most important he was a Daddy and my Husband and he was a Child of God.  He was well known in this community as he lived an example that all persons who knew him has greatly been affected by his sudden passing and everyone knows he lived a life, we all wish we could have.  His family has been touched and greatly blessed by outpouring of persons whom just knew of him and those that talked with him on a daily basis.  Max was his name, but everyone called him MAXMAN because that was just what he was, a true gentleman yet a real man in every bit of the meaning.
